WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will present “People, Place, and Things,” a campus-wide exhibition that showcases artists with ties to eastern Pennsylvania whose work engages ideas of place-making and regional identity. Viewers can begin tours of the exhibition in the Perkins Student Center, where they will find the exhibition text and a map of the artwork locations. While viewing this exhibition, visitors can simultaneously enjoy the many other artworks installed around the college.

Attendees will enjoy many forms or artwork, including photographs by the artist Juliana Delgado that document the people and places of Reading, Pennsylvania; contemporary versions of historic shaker furniture in metal, welded by Sophie Glenn; and Emily Friesen’s textile-based works, which explore Mennonite histories and traditions in relationship to local geographies.
